WE'LL EXPLAIN EVERYTHING TO YOU!
Also called functional colonopathy , or irritable bowel syndrome , or IBS in English... It is given several names, but in the end, what is it?
IBS affects 10 to 15% of the French population, the majority of whom are women. It is a benign intestinal pathology but has a significant impact on quality of life. It brings together a range of symptoms, sometimes only one, sometimes all at the same time: crazy transit (diarrhea, constipation or both), bloating, abdominal pain, but it also induces fatigue and significant stress which, itself, aggravates intestinal symptoms (the loop is closed).
your recommendation dijo
We recommend the Concrete Intestines pack. It combines 2 products, Essential Probiotics and Glutamine, to restore balance within the intestinal microbiota and restore the integrity of the intestinal mucosa. In other words, it's the perfect duo to repair the flaws and repair your shield that is the intestines!
what is its origin ?
Irritable bowel syndrome has no clearly established origin and is said to be multifactorial. It can associate:
- dysbiosis: the famous imbalance of the microbiota
- intestinal hyperpermeability (the intestine is too porous)
- disrupted communication between the brain and intestines
- a motor disorder
- food intolerance(s)
- an abnormality of bile acids
IBS can occur following an intestinal infection, trauma or psychological/physical stress, digestive surgery, disorders
food or even be linked to another pathology (inflammatory disease, autoimmune disease).

FOOD FODMAPS?
You may have already heard of it, this method comes to us from Australia. Developed by MONASH University, it takes place in 3 phases according to a well-established protocol and aims to relieve the digestive symptoms of IBS. Effective in 75% of patients, this diet consists of very strongly limiting, initially, the famous FODMAPs: fermentable sugars that are not or very poorly digested. It is important to emphasize that this method should not be carried out alone or in the long term. You must be accompanied by a health expert (doctor or dietician).
