What to remember :
DIJO advertisements promoting slimming gummies are scams. They use our image without our consent to sell questionable products, sometimes nonexistent or not compliant with regulations.
DIJO does not sell gummies. They are too sweet, contain too many additives, and use heat-treated methods that alter the active ingredients. This format does not meet our quality and effectiveness standards.
Dietary supplements play a supportive role. They do not replace a balanced diet or medical monitoring, but can address specific needs.
No pill or gummie will make you lose weight. These promises are primarily marketing. Sustainable weight loss is based on a holistic lifestyle, not on quick fixes.
At DIJO, we focus on digestive health. A healthy stomach provides a solid foundation for lasting, smooth, and frustration-free changes.
Introduction
You may have seen DIJO advertisements featuring our two founders extolling the virtues of supposed slimming gummies. These advertisements are false: they do not come from us and use our image without our consent to promote fraudulent products—often non-existent, non-French, and/or non-compliant with regulations. These scams promise rapid and spectacular weight loss, a message completely opposed to the values we defend at DIJO. We remind you that this type of message can be dangerous for your health and goes against the natural functioning of the body. DIJO has never marketed gummies, and we do not endorse this type of false promise. It is therefore essential for us to set the record straight.
No gummies at DIJO
At DIJO, we've chosen not to sell any of our dietary supplements in gummie form. Why? Well, quite simply, for these few reasons:
-
The presence of sugar, glucose syrup, or wheat : These forms of simple sugars are often the first ingredients in gummies. They are therefore in greater quantity than the active ingredients and maintain the attraction to sugar. Although it is generally recommended to consume only one or two gummies per day, it is easy to be tempted by more, as the gummy form closely resembles that of candy. One to two gummies per day provide a small amount of sugar, but if this dosage is exceeded daily, this low amount of sugar is no longer guaranteed.
-
The presence of bulk sweeteners or polyols replacing sugar : generally present as the first ingredients in the form of maltitol and/or sorbitol, these compounds do not provide sugar by definition but, due to their sweet taste, also maintain the attraction to sugar. Occasional, they do not have a major impact on the body. On the other hand, consumed regularly and in large quantities, polyols are poorly absorbed by the small intestine and ferment in the colon, can cause digestive problems such as bloating, gas or even osmotic diarrhea. This is why products containing more than 10% maltitol, sorbitol and other bulk sweeteners must legally display the warning: "excessive consumption may have laxative effects". Note that they are strongly discouraged before the age of three and prohibited in infant food.
-
The presence of additives : colorings, flavorings, preservatives, sweeteners, etc. The list can be long. It's therefore essential to read the list of ingredients carefully to know what you're actually consuming. The problem isn't just with each additive taken in isolation, but rather with their accumulation in the daily diet. When you favor a diet composed mainly of raw and minimally processed foods, the occasional presence of additives isn't particularly worrying. However, in the context of a diet rich in ultra-processed products—already loaded with additives—the addition of food supplements that also contain them can increase this cumulative exposure, which raises more questions in the long term.
-
Manufacturing processes : The manufacture of gummies involves heat treatments, necessary to melt and mix ingredients such as gelling agents (gelatin, pectin, etc.), sweeteners, flavors, or colors. Once heated, the mixture is poured into molds and then cooled to obtain the final texture. This process, although necessary, is not without consequences. Heat can indeed alter certain sensitive active ingredients, such as water-soluble vitamins (C and B), probiotics, or certain plant extracts. As a result, the actual active content in the final product may be lower than advertised, affecting the effectiveness of the finished product. Furthermore, to compensate for losses or improve the taste after cooking, some manufacturers add more additives, which makes the composition heavier. These elements must be taken into account, especially when looking for a truly effective supplement that respects the body.
Reminder on food supplements
Too often presented as quick fixes, dietary supplements are neither medicines nor miracle cures. Their role is above all to complement a balanced diet, providing targeted nutrients or active ingredients when a specific need has been identified (deficiency, period of stress, digestive disorders, etc.). Their effectiveness depends on many factors: the quality of the formulation, regularity of use, but also overall lifestyle. When used properly, they can provide occasional support, but should in no way replace a healthy lifestyle or appropriate medical advice.
Magic gummies and weight loss: a well-maintained illusion
Let's be clear: no dietary supplement will help you lose weight on its own. The idea that a "magic pill" can effortlessly melt away the pounds is not only false, but also dangerously perpetuated by aggressive marketing. Many brands exploit the vulnerability of people seeking weight loss or struggling with their body image by selling unrealistic promises. In reality, sustainable weight loss relies primarily on diet, physical activity, sleep, and overall well-being. A supplement can sometimes accompany a balanced lifestyle, but it will never replace the basics. To believe otherwise is to fall into the trap of an industry that plays on urgency and dissatisfaction to sell products that are often ineffective, even questionable.
DIJO's vision for weight loss
At DIJO, we refuse to ride the wave of miracle promises. Weight loss should never rely on extreme solutions or misleading products. It's above all a question of balance: a suitable diet, exercise, quality sleep, and a peaceful relationship with your body. Everything starts with a healthy stomach, because a balanced microbiota plays a key role in weight management and overall well-being. We believe that long-term lifestyle changes, when not overly restrictive, promote sustainable weight loss because they allow the body to adapt gradually, without excessive deprivation. This is the logic behind our approach to dietary supplements: formulas designed to support the body, not rush it. A dietary supplement is not a magic wand. As mentioned previously, its role is to support the body when a specific need arises – digestion, energy, microbiota, etc. – never to replace a healthy lifestyle or treat a deeper malaise. This is why we refuse to offer products that sell unrealistic results, to the detriment of health and self-confidence.
With this in mind, we have developed solutions that naturally support the body in its weight regulation, without rushing it:
-
The Weight Regulation Pack : restoring harmony between your body and your stomach is possible. This pack combines two essentials for intestinal well-being: Essential Probiotics, to reseed the intestinal flora with good bacteria, and Focus Weight, a concentrate of carefully selected prebiotics to promote better weight management. Together, they act synergistically to form symbiotics: the prebiotics nourish the probiotics and strengthen their action. Comprehensive support to help you achieve your goals, gently.
-
The Metabolism Focus Pack : designed for slower metabolisms that can hinder weight loss. It combines Super Metabolism Powder, which supports digestion and naturally stimulates metabolism, with Essential Probiotics, to rebalance intestinal flora. This duo works together to boost metabolic functions and effectively support weight loss, while respecting each individual's pace.
Conclusion
At DIJO, our commitment is clear: to offer useful, effective, and body-friendly dietary supplements. We refuse to give in to the excesses of misleading and fraudulent marketing and unrealistic promises, especially when it comes to health and wellness. The false advertisements circulating about us in no way reflect our values or our work. We want to alert you, but also remind you that health is not just about a pill or a trendy shape. It is built over time, with kindness, common sense, and informed choices. Taking care of yourself begins by reconnecting with what you feel, understanding your needs, and making conscious choices.
